Carole King has led a rich and fascinating life, and it was a delight to listen to her story in her own words on this unabridged audio version--like a reunion with an old friend. Although some may wish she shared more about her complex personal life--she was married four times--in an age of tell-all autobiographies her restraint and respect for the privacy of others is admirable. Like the best books about music and musicians, it has led me back to her albums, which I fell in love with as a teen. LauraADPPL/WeAreSpartacus
